We use a before a unfamiliar new noun that begins with a consonant (a banana, a book) and we use an before an unfamiliar new noun that starts with a vowel (an orange, an apple).
There are some exceptions like we say a university student because the u is pronounced with y at the beginning so it depends on the pronunciation of the first letter.
In umbrella, the first letter is like an vowel sound similar to /a/ in apple therefore we say an umbrella.
lso in "an MP3 player" the M is pronounced with a vowel at the beginning /em pi 3/.
Therefore, although it's a consonant the pronunciation forces us to use an MP3 player.

A Moroccan celebration: Eid Al Adha (The Day of Sacrifice)

Activities: We slay a lamb in Rememberance of the sacrifice of Prophet Ibraheem (Abraham) Peace and Prayers of God be upon him and how he was tested by God by being asked to slay his son to show God matters more to Him. He found his son patient and accepting of God's Will and as Abraham was getting ready to slay his son, a lamb was sent down from God and his sonn was spared. That is why Muslims in Morocco and the Muslim world slay a sheep on the day of Sacrifice to celebrate that great miracle. It actually can be a great topic for other religions when they found out how we celebrate a miracle from a Messenger of God Peace and Prayers of God be upon him and they would realize that we Muslims don't recognize Muhammad Peace and Prayers of God be upon him, but all Messengers (Abraham, David, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad Peace and Prayers of God be upon him).

Special Food and Drinks: In the morning, families have breakfast with Moroccan tea or coffee and milk and home-made cookies, Msemmen, fried dough (Rghayf). For lunch, of course after slaying the lamb families barbecue the meat, the liver enrolled in fat and have it with Moroccan tea again. At night for dinner, some families might cook the head with steam and a part like the shoulder in the oven.

Gifts: Families days before the holiday buy their kids new clothes for the occasion. Because it is mainly about remembering the sacrifice made by the Messenger of God Peace and Prayers of God be upon him.

Other customs: In the morning before slaying the lamb, Muslims wake up and go to a Mussalla (a masjid [mosque] without a roof in open air) and Praise and Remember God by chanting in unison Praises to God. When the Imam (preacher) comes, everyone performs the Eid Prayer and then listen to a sermon (khotba) by the preacher who reminds of the symbolism of the Day of Sacrifice and how to get closer to God through this spiritual act. Muslims are supposed to give out Zakat El Eid (giving alms to the poor at a specific amount before slaying the lamb).

Thank you for your letter. I was glad to learn more about Halloween because as a Moroccan I love the movie "The Crow" and its events take place on Halloween. I love the fact that it's about how God's Justice prevails as the hero of the film (Eric Draven) and his fiancee Shelly (Sofia Shinas) were killed by a group of criminals (Devil's Night). A year later on Halloween exactly again, Eric Draven is given the power by the Angel of Death through a crow that hits the grave with its beak and brings him back to life and gives him a power to be invincible. He takes revenge on all of them. The thing I liked best about it was the great references to Islam as being the Truth through the book by John Milton called Paradise Lost which defends the Qur'an.

The story goes that the monarch Shahryar, on discovering that his first wife was unfaithful to him, resolved to marry a new virgin every day and to have her beheaded the next morning before she could dishonour him. Eventually the vizier could find no more virgins of noble blood and offered his own daughter, Scheherazade, as the king's next bride.

Against her father's wishes, Scheherazade volunteered to marry the king. Once in the king's chambers, Scheherazade asked if she might bid one last farewell to her beloved younger sister, Dunyazad, who had secretly been prepared to ask Scheherazade to tell a story during the long night. The king lay awake and listened with awe as Scheherazade told her first story. The night passed by, and Scheherazade stopped in the middle. Muhammad Ibn Abd Al-Karim al-Khattabi, better known as Abd el-Krim (1882/1883, Ajdir, Morocco – 6 February 1963, Cairo, Egypt) was a Moroccan political and military leader and the President of the Republic of the Rif. (a short-lived republic in northern Morocco that existed between 1921 and 1926. It was created in September 1921, when the people of the Rif revolted and declared their independence from Spanish occupation as well as from the Moroccan Alawite sultan, Yusef.)

He and his brother M'Hammad led a large-scale revolt by a coalition of Riffian tribes against French and Spanish colonization of the Rif, in Morocco. His guerrilla tactics, which included the first-ever use of tunneling as a technique of modern warfare, directly influenced Ho Chi Minh, Mao Zedong and Che Guevara.

Abd el-Krim received a customary formative education at a local school in Ajdir and subsequently attended an institute at Tetouan. At the age of 20, he studied for two years in Fez at the Al Attarine and Saffarin madrasas and subsequently enrolled as a student at the University of al-Qarawiyyin, the world's oldest institution of higher education. Both Muhammad and his brother M'Hammad received a Spanish education, the latter studying mine engineering in Málaga and Madrid. Both spoke fluent Spanish and Riffian.

Following his studies, Abd el-Krim worked in Melilla (a Spanish enclave from 1494 to the present day) as a teacher and translator for the OCTAI, the Spanish 'native affairs' office, and as a journalist for the Spanish newspaper Telegrama del Rif (1906–1915). FOLLOW UP:

Concerning the rights Article 3 which is about right to life, liberty and personal security. Moreover, I cite Article 25 which is about the right to adequate living standards. Moreover, Article 24 which is about the right to rest and leisure.
As for the examples in our area. Article 3 is seen here where parents let their kids play in dangerous areas without monitoring them in the streets, as those kids pick up bad behaviour and language. Another example is when we see kids being abused by their parents who take their anger out on them for no specific reason just because they are upset.
For Article 25, this is seen when some clinics show no care for women when they go into labor. We hear examples of women who had C-sections but when stitched back, a towel was found in a woman's womb. This is also shown when lethal and bad vaccines are given to children in a mandatory manner that destroys their health. An example of Article 18 being violated is when we see parents putting the burden of education on schools alone without any follow-ups. The molding of the core values starts with the mother and father at home. It is not respected when we see schools for example that mix students with disabilities with those with no disabilities which constitutes a huge challenge for the disabled children.
Also, this is evident when we see the health care system forcing vaccines on kids who were healthy before the vaccine and are now sick with autism for instance, which tortures the child and his family and all those surrounding him. This is closely related to the previous issue about disabled children and this constitutes the cause for the calamity. We also see a lack of cultural activities that would motivate children to learn more, educational yet fun activities that create consciousness and awareness in their minds. The schools for instance focus just on teaching languages and content without content that motivates and lets them see what is truly going on in the world and the source of the calamities and what the Creator warned us about. Finally, we can see drug and alcohol salespoints around schools getting kids addicted to drugs from a very early age.
The cultural sessions I mentioned create awareness which cover this aspect too as Michael Jackson God rest his soul tackled this subject in his short film "Smooth Criminal" where he finds out how an agency in the United Nation itself promotes such acts for their own mischievous plans and he was chased throughout the movie but God everytime sends angels to save him from their conspiracies and he ends up winning and saving these kids who were praying at school and this bothered the UN representative as he wanted prayers to Allah to be replaced with drug taking for his own benefit.
Michael Jackson eventually got assassinated in dark circ*mstances and the evidence all point to the fact that he was killed by people "higher than the American government itself" in his final call to his then manager which is all over YouTube. The Truth Thank God is surfacing and God Willing it shall set the world free from this cancer and cure it for once and for all God Willing. This is the solution in my opinion, to focus on creating this awareness and dismantle this hypnosis taking place in the world. In turn, parents and everyone in society should be aware of this Truth and work all together towards a sure path to a better future blessed by the Almighty God, God Willing.

I read in the news that Children are forced to work long hours in carpet factories for little money; they cannot go to school. In this extract, there are violations of 2 UDHR articles. Article 4: Freedom from Slavery and Article 26: Right to Education
You should encourage the government to create laws that forbid hiring children and using them in that manner. In schools too, teachers and educators should find ways that encourage students to study and motivate them intrinsically in a manner that they would feel that studying is a noble holy mission that we should abide by.
In this regard, I feel that schools should coordinate cultural sessions that create awareness as Michael Jackson God rest his soul tackled this subject in his short film "Smooth Criminal" where he finds out how an agency in the United Nation itself promotes such acts for their own mischievous plans and he was chased throughout the movie but God everytime sends angels to save him from their conspiracies and he ends up winning and saving these kids who were praying at school and this bothered the UN representative as he wanted prayers to Allah to be replaced with drug taking for his own benefit.
Michael Jackson eventually got assassinated in dark circ*mstances and the evidence all point to the fact that he was killed by people "higher than the American government itself" in his final call to his then manager which is all over YouTube. The Truth Thank God is surfacing and God Willing it shall set the world free from this cancer and cure it for once and for all God Willing. This is the solution in my opinion, to focus on creating this awareness and dismantle this hypnosis taking place in the world. In turn, parents and everyone in society should be aware of this Truth and work all together towards a sure path to a better future blessed by the Almighty God, God Willing.

I hope that this letter shows how important your involvement is needed although you can see how other organisms could be poisoning the world whereas you can make a change within the United Nation organization as we have the good and bad in every organism.

Dear Nadia,

Previously, I told you about my favourite pastime. Today, I will tell you about my home-town as you wished in your LAST letter.
Well, Menton is situated at the eastern coast of France, with an approximate population of 30.000. It is an ideal destination for tourists from all over THE world, and that is due to several reasons.
To start with, the landscape is beautiful. Wonderiul high trees cover a large area of the town apart from some evergreen gardens WHICH embellish the town center. Besides, the weather is superb the whole year; it is neither hot NOR cold. Moreover, there are a lot of places worth SEEING such as the Roman Church, the museum and the Royal Avenue. All these factors make of Menton a perfect place to spend quiet and enjoyable holidays.
What about your hometown or city ? Are there nice places to see ? What about the weather ? the people ? And so on.

I was delighted to read your letter and learn about the city of Menton, I have never been to France and only see it on TV but your description made me more enthusiastic about visiting your city.
I will talk to you about my hometown of Mohammedia. It is a city on the coast near Casablanca which I'm sure you've heard of because of the famous american movie Casablanca.
Mohammedia is also known for its park, they call the city "the city of flowers" as well as a place in its outskirts called "Dream Village" which has a zoo and a swimming pool with huge slides without forgetting the beautiful mountains surrounding that village. Another great thing about Mohammedia is it is close to the capital of Rabat and the highway which would take you easily too internationally famous cities like Ouerzazate where the famous movie The Last Temptation of Christ peace and prayers of God be upon him which was partly shot in addition to other places in Morocco like Volubilis, Oumnast, Kasbat Ait Benhaddou, and Demnate.
