These met masts, combined with other technologies, provide crucial data on wind speed, direction, and other vital weather parameters. We've acquired a 20 per cent interest in Climatech Zero, a specialist provider of energy management and decarbonisation projects for the industrial sector (including manufacturing and food production). Construction will start soon on the The Victorian Homeless Fund's Origin House – a home being built by Fairhaven Homes, with our support.The Victorian Homeless Fund is a charity that provides long-term, stable homes for people in need, with a focus on supporting women and children escaping family violence.Alongside assisting with construction costs, we will fit the property out with solar panels and provide free electricity, gas and broadband for 12 months.Find out more: https://lnkd.in/g5JKKKtY

We've helped the City of Melbourne launch the first of three battery energy storage systems in Melbourne’s CBD as part of its Power Melbourne project.The batteries are part of a trial phase, which ultimately aims to provide residents and businesses in Melbourne with cleaner, smarter and more affordable energy.Sally Capp AO James Magill

The next best thing to riding Dreamworld’s iconic attractions, is helping power them with Queensland’s abundant sunshine. Our team was thrilled to install a 2,000-panel solar system which will help Dreamworld deliver deep cuts in emissions and save on energy, too. Great to show off the project to Queensland MP Mick de Brenni alongside Dreamworld’s Dwayne Clark. 🎢☀️

Congratulations to our head of e-mobility, Chau Le, on her appointment as Chair of the board of the Electric Vehicle Council (EVC). This high profile appointment is great recognition of her valuable contribution to the board since 2020.Chau becomes the first representative of an energy retailer to fulfil the role of Chair, where she will help provide advice and guidance on EVC’s strategy to achieve their mission of accelerating the electrification of transport by driving investment and awareness.At the same time, she will continue to lead Origin’s e-mobility team as we strive to provide unrivalled solutions including EV management and charging solutions for a growing number of commercial and residential customers.#ElectricVehicles #EVs #eMobility
