UScellular Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
NWS (@Flyordie209) reported
Read the Harvard Business School study on Cellular carrier business practices and WOW. They called out carriers like @UScellular @Verizon and @ATT TLDR-Its more profitable to treat customers with disrespect and lie. Locking them into contracts to force their hand.-
Candace Fox (@candaceefox) reported
haven’t had service for over a month with a service ticket put in almost 3 weeks ago to fix the issue and has yet to get fixed but @UScellular is sure to be on top of sending me my bill for crappy service.

@UScellular hey bestie well the thing is i just think us cellular in my area has been struggling with stuff because my data never works….
Jackie (Weatheronthe8s) 🏳️⚧️ (@Weatheronthe8s) reported
@Flyordie209 @ATT @UScellular Yeah. I am still forced to rely on 1x for calls inside my dad's if WiFi isn't working, and even those drop often. Verizon just barely gets better LTE inside the house, but it isn't really reliable, about to the standard of USCC CDMA. ATT and T-Mo (Sprint tower) have decent signal
NWS (@Flyordie209) reported
@SneedTech Yea. UScellular won't be competitive. Their FWA needs a tech to come install it. Costs more and is in general slower and less available due to its mmWave nature. They are also bleeding customers because they focus on this pet project and not on their network.

@GoldCell2007 @UScellular Being that you're a US Cellular customer I'm going to assume you're not within range of any T-Mobile towers, because of their stronghold on many towers in the Midwest. But, I love my Metro by T-Mobile plan, phone, and service. My bill never changes, and I've never been swindled.

@GoldCell2007 @UScellular Damn. Good luck with USCell. They know they're basically a monopoly and abuse their power as such. I will say this, while prepaid is often villainized and mocked, most prepaid companies allow BYO device plans, and are usually just as reliable, service-wise.
NWS (@Flyordie209) reported
Ouch. Over $2 Million cell bill this month for UA. Paying for cell service for the employees for 1 yr who were forced to switch from UScellular to any other carrier except GoogleFi was an expensive prospect. A tic over 50,000 lines ported out of UScellular since 1Q 2021 though.
Kelly (@KellyMarie42) reported
@GamerMomOf02 @UScellular Same here. In Belle Plaine Iowa. Cellular data is down or extremely slow.
Another Megan (@GoldCell2007) reported
@UScellular I received the phone as part of a promotion and I was informed if I cancel the insurance, which adds $15 to my bill, my rate will increase even more (I was not informed of this when I opened the account, among other things).
